Hello Hikers,  

April is in the midst of mud season, so we thought that once again we'd stick close to home and explore a little-known new trail along the Mohawk River in Rexford. On Sunday, April 19, we'll meet at the parking lot for the Town of Clifton Park's 41 Acre Park on Riverview Road at 1 PM. ( The entrance is .7 miles east of Riverview Orchards on the right side of Riverview Road).  

We'll walk about a mile and a half on wooded trails that are mostly flat to take in views of the Mohawk River, and we'll also walk around a small pond where we should hear a chorus of spring peepers. If you'd like to join us, please email us at kreissigwang@yahoo.com or call/text 518-380-3303.
